How it reads a job description
Fit.app pulls each requirement out of the posting (skills, years, “nice to have” lines) and looks for evidence in two places: the bullets of Ahmed's résumé, which describe production work, and the code of his 64 open-source projects. Each requirement lands in one of four tiers:
- Shipped in production: a résumé bullet from a real role says so, quoted word for word.
- Built in the open: one of the projects uses it, linked to its case study.
- Listed: it's on the skills list, with no case study yet.
- Gap: no evidence at all, and the report says so instead of hiding it.
The score weighs those tiers (1, 0.75, 0.35, 0) and counts nice-to-haves at half. It runs in your browser: the job description is never uploaded. You can print a one-page summary or save a share card for your hiring channel.
